Sealing concrete is what makes a fresh cleaning last. Without a sealer, the same oil drips, rust spots, and clay film start over the day the slab dries. With the right sealer, those stains either don't penetrate or wipe off easily. It is the single best long-term investment after a thorough cleaning.
There are two main sealer families. Penetrating (silane/siloxane) sealers soak into the concrete and protect from the inside out with no change in appearance. Topical (acrylic, urethane, epoxy) sealers form a film on top with options for sheen and color enhancement. The right choice depends on the slab, the climate, and the look you want.
